Meet Sharon. She’s a little camera shy, but if you find her at a craft or vendor event in Northern Minnesota she won’t be shy at all!
Sharon has been “krafting” since 1980. She makes so many wonderful items. Not just items you’ll see in her catalog, but items she strictly sells at shows. Such as clay created creatures on night lights or lighted santas or snowmen in the winter.
“One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” I believe in this proverb and apply it to my crafting endeavor.
Part of my creative process is going to rummage sales, clearance sales, thrift stores, and the like to purchase items I can combine and upcycle.
I combine these purchases into “one-of-a-kind” items that I hope people will enjoy.
Depending on what I find, allows me to be creative and use many different techniques to embellish my creations, including but not limited to hand and machine sewing, hand and machine embroidery, painting, crochet, clay, and Cricut.
